Cartersville boys soccer suffers playoff loss at Southeast Whitfield

The Cartersville boys soccer team had its season come to a close Thursday night in Dalton with a 1-0 loss at Southeast Whitfield.

The game’s only goal was scored by the Raiders in the final five minutes of the game.

Southeast Whitfield (6-11-2) advances to the Class AAAA quarterfinals to face the Spalding/Luella winner.

The Hurricanes’ season ends with a 10-7-1 mark.
