AHSBA wraps up 2018-19 season with Alabama tourney

Cartersville High School juniors Chandler Shook and Caz Smith (photo) won the Amateur High School Bass Anglers Tournament on Saturday at Lake Guntersville, Alabama. The event winners had a winning weight of 18.5 pounds.









Peyton Ray (Cartersville HS) and Gabriel Franklin (Cass HS) {photo} teamed up for second place in the tourney.


Dean Rice (Calhoun) and Colton Cleveland placed third.


The tournament wrapped up the 2018-19 season for the AHSBA.

In the junior division, Caiden Moore (Woodland MS) and Tucker Ivester (Cass MS, photo) finished first while the largest catch of the day went to Tyler Smith (Cass) and Gavin Aikens (Sonoraville) with a 5.32-pound large-mouth bass.
