Cartersville Little League Tigers face Dodgers for major league playoff title; A's-White Sox mee

The Cartersville Little League Major division city playoffs are down to the finals with the Tigers squaring off against the Dodgers Tuesday night in the championship game of the 2019 season at Rudy York Field. The Tigers (20-0) are undefeated in the double-elimination playoff tournament and have not lost this season. They need only one more win to take the regular season and tournament title. The Dodgers (15-6) have one loss in the tournament and need two wins over the Tigers to take the playoff championship. If a second championship game is necessary, it will be played Wednesday at Rudy York Field. The Cartersville Little League Minor division playoffs have also reached the league championship round with the top two teams from the regular season squaring off for the title. The A's (16-0) and White Sox (13-6) play a championship game Tuesday night at 5:45 p.m. on Rudy York Field. If a second championship game is needed, it is scheduled for Wednesday.
