8th-ranked Lady Colonels win at Cedartown

The Cass girls basketball team, ranked No. 8 in Class 5A, ran its current win streak to 10 consecutive games Tuesday with an easy 77-23 win at Cedartown.

Amaya Ford led Cass in scoring with 21 points with nine other Lady Colonels finding the scoring column. Miya Winston scored nine. Haley Johnson, Keara McDaniel, Olivia Woods, and Kiana McDaniel followed with eight each. Mikaela Jackson finished with six. Tamira Feanny scored four. Claire Davis added three points and Reese Howard finished with two.

Cedartown slipped to 2-4 on the season with the loss.

Cass (11-1) opens the Adairsville High School Christmas Clash next Tuesday at 10 a.m. against Class 7A Parkview.
