The Adairsville girls and Cass boys added soccer victories on Tuesday.
ADAIRSVILLE GIRLS 8, RINGGOLD 1
The Lady Tigers led 6-0 by halftime and cruised to an 8-1 non-region win over visiting Ringgold Tuesday night.
Ella Edwards scored four goals for Adairsville. Alexa Damer scored a goal and had three assists. Alivia Joslin scored two goals and had one assist. Addi Jerauld scored a goal. Sam Gough, Lily McCormick, and Carly Edwards contributed one assist.
The Adairsville girls (12-3) wrap up regular season play on Thursday at Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe.
RINGGOLD 3, ADAIRSVILLE BOYS 1
Ringgold scored two goals in the second half Tuesday night to win at Adairsville, 3-1.
Ringgold improved to 10-5.
Adairsville (6-10) concludes the regular season on Thursday at Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe.
EAST PAULDING 4, WOODLAND GIRLS 3
The Lady Cats lost a non-region home match Tuesday night to East Paulding, 4-3.
The visiting Lady Raiders led 4-0 through the first 22 minutes, but Woodland narrowed the margin to 4-2 by halftime.
Maddie Weightman scored the first Lady Cats goal off an assist from Libby Morgan in the 28th minute. Then, with three minutes remaining in the first half, Jackie Arias found the back of the net off a feed from Carlie Forman.
Midway through the second half, Morgan assisted on a goal by Forman, but the Lady Cats failed to find the equalizer.
East Paulding improved to 7-6.
The Lady Cats (5-9) conclude their season on Friday at Bremen in a 5:30 p.m. kickoff.
EAST PAULDING 1, WOODLAND BOYS 1 (East Paulding wins on PKs)
The Wildcats and Raiders battled through a scoreless first half, and each scored a second-half goal on Tuesday before East Paulding won in a penalty kick shootout.
Edwin Vazquez scored for Woodland off an assist from Hunter Limbaugh in the 60th minute. East Paulding scored an equalizer five minutes later.
The Raiders (7-7) converted three of five shots in the PK session to win.
Woodland (5-11) visits Bremen to conclude the season on Friday.
CASS BOYS 9, HOLY INNOCENTS 1
The Colonels led 4-1 at the intermission and added five insurance goals in the second half to win Tuesday night at Holy Innocents in Atlanta.
The loss dropped Holy Innocents to an 8-9 record.
Cass, who will be a 4-seed in the Class AAAA state playoffs next week, improved to 7-7. The Colonels will play on the road in the state tournament’s first round against the Region 6-AAAA champion.
HOLY INNOCENTS 10, CASS GIRLS 0
The Lady Colonels (1-12) lost Tuesday night at Holy Innocents (14-3).
The Cass girls will wrap up their season Thursday evening at Pebblebrook.
DAWSON COUNTY 2, CARTERSVILLE GIRLS 0
The visiting Lady Tigers scored one goal in each half to win at Cartersville Tuesday, 2-0.
Dawson County improved to 12-4.
Cartersville (6-8) visits North Paulding at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday in a final tune-up before the Class AAAA state playoffs next week. The Lady Canes will be a 4-seed and play at Blessed Trinity in Roswell in the first round.
DAWSON COUNTY 3, CARTERSVILLE BOYS 2
Dawson County outscored Cartersville 2-1 in the second half to defeat the Canes at Weinman Stadium on Tuesday, 3-2. The two teams went to the intermission knotted 1-1.
The Tigers improved to 5-9.
Cartersville (3-10) finishes the 2025 season on Thursday at North Paulding.
