Adairsville tennis teams defeat Panthers

The Adairsville girls' and boys' tennis teams defeated the visiting Ridgeland Panthers Monday night in Region 6-AAA matches. The Lady Tigers won 3-2 and the Adairsville boys won 5-0.

Line 2-----Darby Adams/ Stella Rood won 6-3, 6-3

Boys singles

Line 1-----Braden Potter won 6-0, 6-0

Line 2-----Michael Spinks won 6-0, 6-1

Line 3-----RJ Bowling won 6-0, 6-0

Boys doubles

Line 1-----Braden Mathis/ Jack Baxter won 6-1, 6-1

Line 2-----Camden Teems/ Bryson Gooden won 6-0, 6-0

The Adairsville girls are now 3-0 in region matches. The Adairsville boys are 2-1.

The Tigers host Ringgold on Tuesday at Hamilton Crossing Park at 4 p.m.
