Adairsville tennis teams sweep Colonels


The Adairsville High School tennis teams defeated Cass Wednesday night with the Tigers winning all five lines and the Lady Tigers taking wins at Line 3 singles and on both doubles lines. The match was conducted at Hamilton Crossing Park.

Line 2 — Stella Rood / Kathleen Chapman (A) won 6-2, 7-5



Adairsville boys are 2-3 overall and 1-0 in Region 6-AAA. The Adairsville girls are 3-2 overall and 1-0 in region play.


The Tigers return to the courts Thursday at home against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe.
