Adairsville volleyball tops Mountaineers; Cartersville wins twice at home
Adairsville volleyball defeated North Murray Tuesday night 25-21 and 25-13.
Kaylee Jordan finished with four kills, four digs, and one ace. Annie McCormick had five assists, two digs, a kill and one ace. Grace Collins totaled five digs and two aces. Aaliyah Applin tossed in four digs and two aces and Lexie Childers added four assists, one dig, and one kill.
The Tigers improved to 7-7 overall and 2-3 in Region 6-AAA.
Adairsville travels to Rockmart Thursday where they will also take on Chattooga. The Lady Tigers will host the Bartow County tournament Saturday with action beginning at 9 a.m.
CARTERSVILLE DEFEATS COAHULLA CREEK, RINGGOLD
Cartersville volleyball swept Coahulla Creek and Ringgold Tuesday evening at home to improve to 7-6 on the season.
The Canes beat Coahulla Creek 25-10 and 25-17. They defeated Ringgold 25-11 and 25-17.
CASS, WOODLAND LOSE AT HOME
Cass volleyball dropped a non-region match Tuesday to visiting Bremen in straight sets. The Blue Devils won 25-15 and 25-10.
Woodland fell in a home, Region 7-AAAAA match to Blessed Trinity Tuesday night. The visiting Titans won 25-4 and 25-9.
