Adairsville wrestling splits matches at Commerce Tri-Dual Meet

The Adairsville Tigers wrestling team split a pair of matches Wednesday at the Commerce Tri-Dual Meet.

The Tigers defeated the defending 2020 Class A state champion Commerce Tigers in the first match and — according to coach Ryan Torrence — wrestled very well in a second match against the defending Class AAAAAA Creekview Grizzlies only to come up a little short. “I’m very proud of the way we have compete despite missing sixteen guys,” added Torrence.

Next on the schedule for the Tigers is the Hiram Duals on Wednesday, December 30.
