Bartow County Junior Little League takes District 1 crown

The Bartow County Junior Little League tournament team captured the 2025 District 1 crown on Wednesday night at Perry Park.  Holding banner (L-R): Colby Hoover, Isaac Elrod, Jaxon Stanfield, Triston Brawner, and Oliver Yarbrough. The Bartow County Junior Little League (13-14 year olds) tournament team won the Georgia Little League District 1 championship Wednesday night at Perry Park by completing a two-game sweep of Cartersville Junior Little League.


Bartow won the best-of-three series opener 18-9 and closed out the district series on Wednesday with a 5-4 victory.


Bartow County Junior Little League advances to the Georgia Little League State Tournament, which begins July 5 at Apalachee High School in Winder.
