Bartow County Little League Senior team wins District 1 championship

The Bartow County Little League Senior team (16-and-under) won the Georgia Little League Baseball District 1 championship Monday by sweeping a best-of-three series with Rockmart, 18-4 and 15-0.

The Bartow team roster includes Isaac Burnett, Bryson Chatman, Barrett Fuller, Dutch Hernandez, McCayden Hufstetler, Landon Lamb, Drew Nida, Huddy Parr, Brylan Reynolds, Aiden Richie, John Ryan, and Brody Varner.

The Bartow County Little League Senior team advances to the Georgia State Championship Tournament that begins July 8 at Doyle Street Park in Toccoa.
