Battle for Bartow scheduled for Thursday and Friday at LakePoint

The annual Battle for Bartow Baseball Classic will renew again this week with a full slate of games scheduled for Thursday and Friday at LakePoint in Emerson.

With defending champion Cartersville now in the same region with Cass and Woodland, the format has changed to not include a tournament bracket. Instead, the local teams will square off against a variety of challengers from around the area and state. Adairsville is not participating this year.
