Both Cartersville teams, Woodland boys, Cass girls earn state tennis tourney berths

Following action Tuesday at Dellinger Park in the first two rounds of the 2023 Region 7-5A tennis tournament, the Cartersville girls and boys teams along with the Woodland boys and the Cass girls have locked up Class 5A state tournament berths. The top four teams from Region 7-5A will play opponents from Region 8-5A next week when the Class AAAAA State Tournament begins. The No. 1 and No. 2 seeds from each region will host first round matches.
