Boys soccer state playoff first round pairings for Cartersville, Cass, and Woodland

The boys state soccer playoff pairings are set for the first round of the GHSA Class AAAAA state tournament for Region 7-AAAAA.

Three local teams — Cartersville, Cass, and Woodland — will open the playoffs next Wednesday against teams from Region 6-AAAAA.

Cartersville is a No. 2-seed and will host Villa Rica. Cass is a No. 3-seed and will travel to Atlanta to take on Grady. Woodland, a No. 4-seed, travels to North Springs for the Wildcats’ opening round game.

Blessed Trinity won Region 7-AAAAA and will host Chapel Hill.
