Brumlow climbs leaderboard for top 12 finish at GSGA Men's Amateur Championship

Bodie Brumlow of Cartersville tied for 12th at the 104th Georgia State Golf Association Men’s Amateur Championship, firing rounds of 75-72-67-72 at Atlanta Country Club in Marietta. 


Brumlow, a rising junior at Cartersville High School, had one of the day's low rounds on Saturday to move well into the top twenty.


The top 20 and ties earned an exemption into the 2025 Georgia Amateur at Ocean Forest Golf Club at Sea Island.


Bo Blanchard of Columbus shot 71-67-67-67 and won the 2025 title by three shots over Milton’s Jack Schoenberger (71-69-66-69). Duluth's Carter Loflin, a rising senior on the University of Georgia golf team, finished third (68-67-73-69) and was two more shots back.


R.B. Clyburn of Cartersville tied for 28th. He carded rounds of 68-73-72-82.
