XC results for Canes, Colonels, and Tigers

The Cartersville boys cross country team ran to a 16th-place finish in the Varsity Boys A Division of the Wingfoot XC 5K Classic at Sam Smith Park in Cartersville.
Walton won the division that included 33 teams and 230 runners, followed by South Forsyth and Dunwoody.
The Canes were paced by Carson Robinson (41st, 17:14). He was followed by Kaleb Lanier (56th, 17:31), Tripp Chitwood (84th, 17:52), Ben Russell (96th, 18:04), Malachi Weir (145th, 18:52), and Brayden Yrabedra (167th, 19:12).
The Cass boys did not field enough runners for a team score, but had two individual runners in the Varsity Boys B Division. Booker Gearhart was 31st of 280 runners in the division (18:18). Adam Bush was 88th in 19:20. Tift County won the B Division team title that included 33 teams.
TIGERS COMPETE AT WILDWOOD RUN
The Adairsville boys cross country team placed 18th of 20 competing teams last Wednesday at the Wildwood Run held at Edwards Park in Dalton.
Heritage-Catoosa won the team race, followed by Dalton and Southeast Whitfield.
Aaron Souders (61st of 171 runners, 22:00) led the Tigers. He was followed by Canyon East (85th, 23:07), Luke Farmer (101st, 24:11), Charlie Potter (117th, 25:28), and Victor Singer (133rd, 27:08).
The Adairsville girls did not field a team score, but Bella Smith was 4th of 115 runners in the girls race. Fernanda Singer (50th, 29:16) also ran for the Lady Tigers.
Cartersville runs next at On Twilight at PR’ville in Huntsville, Alabama, on Friday.
Cass, Adairsville, and Woodland will participate in the Darlington XC Festival in Rome on Saturday
