Canes earn runner-up finish at Governor's Club Spring Break-Out

The Cartersville boys’ golf team finished runner-up Monday at the Allatoona High School Spring Breakout Invitational at The Governors Golf Club.
The Canes shot 290 and finished runner-up to defending Class AAAA state champion, North Oconee.
Bodie Brumlow led the Canes, carding a 5-under-par 67. Andrew Lutjens fired a round of 70 that included nine birdies. Reid Henson followed with a 74, and Carter Rice shot 76 to round out the Cartersville scoring.
Cartersville hosts the Area Championship Tournament on Tuesday at Cartersville Country Club.
