Canes fall at Darlington in regular-season finale

The Cartersville boys basketball team lost its regular-season final game on Saturday, falling to host Darlington 91-57 at the Darlington Valentine Day Showcase Invitational.
The host Tigers improved to 23-2 on the season with the non-region win.
Cartersville (20-5) will play next on Thursday at home in the semifinal round of the Region 7-AAAA tournament. The Canes will play either Allatoona, Cedartown, or Woodland. Woodland plays Cedartown on Monday. The winner plays Allatoona on Wednesday, and the survivor faces Cartersville in the semifinals.
