Canes riflery team sets new school record score, but falls to Ridgeland

In an Area 10 match that saw the two teams separated by only four points through the first two of three positions last Thursday, Cartersville shot an all-time team-high 1077 but fell to Ridgeland by just eight points. The 1085 was the Panthers’ best road score of the season.
Mackenzie Hunter led Ridgeland with a match-high score of 281. Caleb Adams fired the top score for Cartersville with a personal best and new school record 277. Angelina Christ followed with a 273. Kaleb Wolfe shot his personal best with a score of 264 followed by Katerina Conley (263), Noah Goodwin (249),Taylor Buchanan (244), and Sheyenne Nelson (241). The Canes Rifles (4-5) travel to Ridgeland for their next match Wednesday.
