Canes track and field placed fifth at Creekview Invitational

The Cartersville High School boys track and field team placed fifth Saturday at the 16-team Creekview Invitational in Canton with the Lady Canes finishing 13th.

West Forsyth won the boys team championship with 100.2 points. Harrison (88), East Paulding (84.2), and Etowah (65) rounded out the top five teams along with the Canes.

The West Forsyth girls also won the team title. The Cartersville girls totaled 16.2 points.
