Cartersville 8U Coach Pitch Baseball team wins 2025 GRPA state championship

The Cartersville 8U Coach Pitch Baseball team captured the 2025 GRPA State Championship on Thursday and was undefeated in District and State Tournament play. The Cartersville 8U Coach Pitch Baseball team captured the 2025 GRPA State Championship on Thursday and was undefeated in District and State Tournament play. The Cartersville 8U Coach Pitch Baseball team won the 2025 Georgia Recreation and Parks Association Class A/B state championship on Thursday with a 15-7 win over Summerville 8U.


Cartersville 8U, the District 5 champions, went 5-0 in the 10-team double-elimination bracket that began on Tuesday at Westside Park in Whitfield County.


Cartersville had state tournament wins over Gainesville (22-4), Bainbridge (8-0), Summerville (15-8), and Jefferson (11-3) before wrapping up the title on Thursday in a second meeting with Summerville.
