Cartersville High competition cheer team is GHSA Class 5A state runner-up

The Cartersville High School Competition Cheer team finished their 2022 season as the GHSA Class AAAAA State Runner-Up this past Saturday in Columbus. The Canes completed an undefeated regular season, they were the Region 7-AAAAA champions, and Class 5A State Runner-Up.

The team roster included: Brylie Bohn, Gracie Brown, Ginger Bunce, Jayla Byrd, Ashton Cagle, Lydia Childers, Teghan Davis, Emerie Elrod, Karley Garrison, Carli Godfrey, Elizabeth Hardy, Addy Heath, Caslynn Holcombe, Sarah Krause, Karen Landaverde, Baylie Lubben, Isabella Norwood, Ava Poole, Jacey Tant, Annaston Wilson, and Kalee Wyatt.
