Cartersville riflery team has two match win streak snapped

The Cartersville High School riflery team's two match win streak ended Thursday night with a 1071-1022 loss to LaFayette. Shelby Hudson and Elijah Webb led the Ramblers with match-high scores of 270 with six bullseyes.

Cartersville team captain Angelina Christ led the Canes with a 263 score. Caleb Adams (256), Luis Rangel (253), Kaleb Wolfe (250), and Noah Goodwin (236) rounded out the top four. The Canes' rifle team remains in second place in Area 10 and will travel to Ridgeland Tuesday before hosting South Paulding in a non-area match Thursday.
