Cartersville track and field teams place fourth at Central-Carroll Lion Meet

The Cartersville High School girls and boys track and field teams both came away with fourth-place finishes Thursday night at the Central-Carroll Lion Meet in Carrollton.

The Central-Carroll girls and boys teams were winners in their respective competitions and each scored an identical 206 points.

The Bremen girls were runner-up with 105 points followed by LaGrange (96) and Cartersville (74) in the nine-team meet.

The LaGrange boys were runner-up with 110 points followed by Bremen (108.5) and Cartersville (97). There were also nine teams in the boys' competition.
