The Cartersville High School girls’ and boys’ track and field teams each won the six-team Friday Night Lights meet on March 13 hosted by Dalton High School.
The Cartersville girls finished with 186.75 points, with Heritage-Catoosa (154.50) and Dalton (122.50) claiming second and third, respectively.
The Cartersville boys powered their way to 288 points, followed by Heritage-Catoosa (145.50) and Dalton (109.50).
Northwest Whitfield, Ridgeland, and Coahulla Creek were the other competing schools.
