Cartersville volleyball goes 4-1 at Sandy Creek tourney

Cartersville High’s volleyball team opened the 2023 season Friday and Saturday at the Sandy Creek High School Invitational winning four of five matches.

The Hurricanes had straight sets wins over Trinity Christian and Elite Scholars Academy Friday evening and beat Jonesboro and Kell in straight sets on Saturday before falling to host Sandy Creek in two sets.

Cartersville (4-1) is scheduled to host Heritage-Catoosa and Allatoona Tuesday at the Storm Center.
