Cartersville volleyball runner-up in 'At the Rock' Invitational

Cartersville volleyball went 4-2-1 and finished runner-up at the Rockmart ‘At the Rock’ Invitational Saturday. The Hurricanes had two wins over Cedartown to go with wins over Villa Rica and Paulding County in the one-day competition. Cartersville also split two sets with Central-Carroll and had a loss to Villa Rica during in the tournament. Cartersville (17-10-1) returns to action Monday in a home, non-region match with Temple. The Canes then host Rockmart Tuesday and travel to Armuchee Thursday.
