Cartersville volleyball sweeps matches; Adairsville falls at Sonoraville

The Cartersville Lady Canes’ volleyball team won three home matches Friday in the Storm Center, topping Ringgold (25-12, 25-14), Union Grove (25-9, 25-13), and Westlake (straight sets, scores not available at the time of this release).
Cartersville (28-3, 4-0 Region 7-5A) plays at Woodland on Tuesday and will also face East Paulding.
Adairsville volleyball lost at Sonoraville on Thursday, 25-15, 25-17.
Blaire Fuller had five kills for the Lady Tigers in their loss. Nadelyn Dodson had 10 digs, and Teaghan Myers contributed 13 assists.
The Lady Tigers (8-13, 1-4 Region 7-4A) have region matches in Tunnel Hill on Tuesday against Cahoun and host Northwest Whitfield.
