Cass, Adairsville wrestling teams compete in Thanksgiving week tourneys

The Cass Colonels wrestling team finished third on November 26 at the Gauntlet in Gray, hosted by Jones County High School.

The Colonels, still competing without a full lineup, had eight of nine wrestlers place in the tournament.

Luka Jensen (150 pounds), David Jewell (157), and Ethan Harrington (175) won their respective weight divisions. Brandon Lalbehari (106), Hayden Trimm (126), Codey Dean (215), and John Abernathy (285) placed second. Justus Fife (132) earned a fourth-place finish.

Adairsville wrestling finished 13th of 17 teams at the Ringgold Invitational on November 22. 

David Coon went 2-1 and finished runner-up in the 175-pound division. Jarrett Chriswell went 5-1 in the 157-pound weight class to place third.
