Cass pitcher Lily Powell tossed a four-inning, one-hit shutout and the Colonels pounded out thirteen hits in a 12-0 home win Wednesday night over the Rome Wolves.

Powell struck out six and did not issue a walk while collecting the pitching victory.

Powell (triple) and Erin Clinard both finished with three hits and two RBIs. Braelyn Franklin (RBI) followed with two hits. Cayce Brown (double, sac fly, three RBIs), Harlee Thomason, Reese Howard, Darianna Sosa (triple), and KK Evans contributed one hit apiece. Emma Gibson added one RBI.

The loss dropped Rome to 3-12 on the season.

Cass (7-13, 2-8) hosts Calhoun Thursday at 5 p.m. and travels to Trion on Saturday for an 11 a.m. start.
