Cass girls rout Allatoona, improve to 2-0

The Class AAAAA 4th-ranked Cass girls defeated visiting Allatoona Tuesday afternoon 80-29.

Cass raced to a 23-7 lead in the first eight minutes and led 43-18 at halftime. The Colonels built a 68-27 lead through three quarters.

Haley Johnson led the Cass scoring attack with 18 points. Keara McDaniel followed with 14 points and had seven steals. Gracie Elkins finished with 12, Claire Davis 11, and Londaisha Smith 10 as the Lady Colonels had five players in double figures. Rounding out the Cass scoring were Amaya Ford with six, Zion Hayes with four, Mikaela Jackson three, and Makyera Baldwin added two points.

Cass (2-0) hosts Lassiter Friday, December 4.
