Cass girls third, Cass boys fourth at SE Whitfield Track and Field Invitational

The Cass girls placed third and the Cass boys were fourth Saturday at the 2022 Southeast Whitfield High School Track and Field Invitational.

The Lady Colonels totaled 86.5 points and were third behind winner Calhoun (120) and Ridgeland (94). Host Southeast (65) and North Murray (63) rounded out the top five girls teams. The Adairsville girls were tenth in the 10-team field.

Calhoun (123.25) also won the boys meet followed by Coahulla Creek (103.5). The next four teams were all within eight points of one another including Ridgeland (78), Cass (77.75), Southeast Whitfield (71.5), and Heritage-Catoosa (70) to complete the top six teams. Adairsville (56) placed seventh in the 11-team field.
