Cass girls win at Rome
The Cass tennis teams split matches Monday at Rome with the Lady Colonels winning 4-1 and the Cass boys falling 5-0.
The Cass girls won the top two singles lines and both doubles matches to defeat the Lady Wolves.
Emily Surcey won at Line 1 singles 6-0, 6-0 and Christina Surcey won her Line 2 singles match 6-0, 6-2.
The Cass Line 1 doubles team of Payton Tatusko and Sydney Coppola needed three sets to win 7-5, 2-6, 6-2 while the Lady Colonels’ Line 2 team of Carli Rediger and Allison White won 6-4, 6-4.
The Cass tennis teams return to action Tuesday, March 16 at Hamilton Crossing Park against Blessed Trinity and will travel to Dellinger Park on Thursday, March 18 to take on Cartersville. Both matches are 4:30 p.m. starts.
