Cass track and field competes at Gordon Central tri-meet

The Cass girls and boys track and field teams finished third in a tri-meet Thursday at Gordon Central High School in Calhoun.

Chattooga won the girls’ meet while the host Warriors won the boys’ meet.

Top two performances for Cass:

1st — Jimena Perez — 400m Dash — 1:11.18

2nd - Jayden Dance — Long Jump — 18-08

2nd — Jayden Dance — 200m Dash — 25.01

2nd — Malakai Keita — Shot Put — 34-03

2nd — Jaela Smith — 100m Hurdles — 20.88

2nd — Girls 4x100m Relay — 56.33

2nd — Girls 4x400m Relay — 5:29.46

2nd — David Lopez — 800m Run — 2:37.85

Cass will compete on Thursday at a 7-team meet at Cartersville High School.
