The Cass girls placed fifth, and the Cass boys were eighth on Saturday at the nine-team Gordon Central Invitational in Calhoun.
Riverdale High School won the girls’ and boys’ team titles. Model and Sonoraville were second and third in the girls’ division. Calhoun and Franklin County were second and third in the boys’ division.
The Cass girls won the 4x100-meter relay in 52.31. The relay team included Rilyn Caspari, Chloe Dye, Javia Woodard, and Nevaeh Printup.
The next competition for the Colonels will be the Dalton High School Rotary Invitational on Saturday, March 21.
