Cass track & field teams place fourth at Calhoun Invitational

The Cass girls and boys track and field teams both finished fourth Saturday at the six-team Calhoun Yellow Jacket Invitational.

Southeast Whitfield won the girls meet with 110 points. Host Calhoun was second with 105.5 followed by Heritage-Catoosa (101.5), Cass (99), Cedartown (98), and Northwest Whitfield (80).

Cedartown won the boys competition with 180.3 points. Calhoun was runner-up with 121.5. Heritage-Catoosa (103.8) placed third followed by Cass (103), Southeast Whitfield (86.3), and Northwest Whitfield (61).
