Cass track & field teams second at Calhoun five-way meet

The Cass girls and boys track and field teams finished second Tuesday at Calhoun High School in a five-way meet.
The Heritage-Catoosa girls won with 100 points. The Lady Colonels scored 73 points followed by Southeast Whitfield (70) and Calhoun (70) in a tie for third with Coosa (33) fifth.
Calhoun won the boys’ meet with 123 points. Cass scored 95. Heritage-Catoosa (88.5) was third followed by Southeast Whitfield (64) and Coosa (11.5).

The next meet for Cass is the Southeast Invitational Saturday in Dalton.
