Cass track & field teams second at Darlington six-way meet


The Cass girls and boys track and field teams were both runner-ups Thursday at a six-team meet hosted by Darlington in Rome.


The Cass girls finished with 133 points and were runner-up to Pepperell (195). Darlington (123.5) placed third followed by Chattooga (54), Coosa (26.5), and Unity Christian School (18).


The boys’ meet was won by Darlington (235) followed by the Colonels (218) and Pepperell (112). Coosa (43) was fourth followed by Unity Christian School (27) and Chattooga (23).
