Cass volleyball falls in a pair of three-set matches

The Cass volleyball team lost a pair of matches Monday night -- both going the full three sets -- in non-region action at Murray County.

The Colonels lost to Gilmer 25-18 in the opening set but rallied to win the second set 25-22 before dropping the deciding set 15-10.

Cass won the opening set of their match with Murray County 25-20, but lost the final two sets 25-18 and 15-10.

Cass (2-13-1) hosts Cedartown next Tuesday, September 5.
