Chargers topple Tigers, improve to 2-1 in GCAA

The Georgia Highlands College men’s basketball team continued their conference title defense Saturday, defeating the Andrew College Tigers 66-48 in Rome. They move to 10-5 on the season and 2-1 in the conference.
Cameron Baldwin scored a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds while adding two blocks, three steals, and two assists. Ten different Chargers scored in the contest, and GHC scored 27 points off the bench. The Chargers led 31-27 at halftime but outscored Andrew 35-21 in the second half to seal the win.
GHC will continue their four-game homestand Monday night against East Georgia State. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. on GHC’s Floyd Campus.
