Class 4A Dual State Tournament: Woodland, Cass reach semifinals

The Woodland and Cass wrestling teams each won their first-round and state quarterfinal matches on Friday at the Class 4A Dual State Tournament at Ola High School in McDonough.
Woodland cruised past Pace Academy in the opening round 78-3, while Cass topped Drew 42-35.
In the state quarterfinals, Woodland handled Cambridge 60-16, while Cass defeated Central-Carroll 50-27.
Woodland will square off with Harris County on Saturday in the state semifinals. Cass will face host Ola.
The state championship match will follow on Saturday.
