Colonels cruise past Dragons, Lady Colonels play Pepperell to a 3-3 draw

The Cass boys soccer team cruised to a 10-2 win Wednesday night over Pepperell and the Lady Colonels played the visiting Lady Dragons to a 3-3 draw at Cochran Stadium.

Eight different players scored goals for the Cass boys and six had one or more assists.

Christian Villella and Camden Hillhouse had two goals and one assist each. Alex Hernandez finished with a goal and four assists. Jovany Contreras and Juan Pajarito had one goal and one assist each. Andrew Nguyen, Kayden Pineda, and Jose Rodriguez scored goals and Grayson Dysart added one assist for the Colonels.

The loss dropped Pepperell to 2-3 on the season and the Colonels improved to 4-2.

In the girls game, Cass freshman Haley Sklba scored all three goals for the Lady Colonels in their 3-3 draw.

The Cass girls are now 1-3-1 on the season and Pepperell moves to 1-2-2.

The Lady Colonels and Colonels host South Paulding Friday night in a doubleheader starting at 5:30 p.m.
