Colonels fall at Rome


The Cass boys basketball team lost at Rome Thursday night, 55-48.


Rome held a narrow 29-26 lead at halftime and the Wolves were able to maintain their advantage through the second half for an eventual seven-point win.


Rome’s Braxton Wade scored a game-high 19 points to pace the Wolves. Bryson Thacker and Cameron Keith followed with 18 and 16 points, respectively.


Cass was led by Devin Henderson with 16 points. K.J. Rogers followed with 12. Jayden Foster contributed nine points. Isaiah Ford finished with five. Sacovie White, Tom Brannon, and Kevin Henderson added two points each.


Cass (2-5) hosts North Paulding Tuesday.
