Colonels top Mountaineers, 2-1

The Cass boys soccer team evened its season record at 3-3 with a 2-1 win Friday night at North Murray. Alfred Chege and Omar Garcia scored the Colonels’ goals.

Cass has played a challenging non-region slate heading into region play next Tuesday. Five of the Colonels’ first six opponents have been ranked in the top ten in their respective classifications.

Cass begins Region 7-AAAAA play Tuesday night at home against Calhoun at 7 p.m.
