Colonels top Tigers as county rivals open 2020 campaigns

After a week of avoiding poor field conditions, Cass and Adairsville got their 2020 baseball schedules underway with Cass taking a 7-2 non-region win at the Cass Athletic Complex. Cass struck first with a pair of runs in the first inning and went ahead 3-1 in the second. Jayden Smith (1 IP, 0R, 0H, 0BB, 2K) and Matt Shook (2 IP, 0R, 0H, 3BB, 4K) pitched in relief for Cass.
