Garrison competes in GHSA Gymnastics Championships, leads Canes to No. 11 ranking

Cartersville High School junior Karley Garrison qualified for the 2023 GHSA Gymnastics Championships in Buford last week competing in the All-Around competition as an individual.

Garrison and the Cartersville High team — that also included seniors Annaston Wilson and Jayla Byrd — learned their final team ranking in the Class A through Class 5A division was 11th in the state.

Garrison placed 18th in Class A through Class 5A in Floor Exercise. She also finished 20th All Around. Her other apparatus final rankings were 26th Vault, 27th Bars, and 28th Beam.
