Georgia Highlands softball loses twice at ABAC

Georgia Highlands softball dropped both games of a doubleheader Thursday at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. The host Fillies defeated the Chargers 9-1 and 10-2.
Georgia Highlands managed only three hits in the opening game.
Malone Aldridge had a double. Audrey Johnson and Jordan Blair had the other hits for the Chargers.
Aldridge had two hits in the second game including a solo home run. Taylor Justice doubled. Abigail Lathrop and Johnson had the other base hits for GHC.
Jaycie Hand was the losing pitcher in the first game. Rena Fraga was tagged with the pitching loss in Game 2.
ABAC improved to 12-12 on the season and 4-0 in Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association play.
Georgia Highlands (9-17, 3-3) plays at South Georgia Friday.
