GHSA Class 5A State Duals Championship bracket released for Cass and Woodland

Cass wrestling head coach D.L. Koontz leads his team into the Class 5A State Duals Championship Saturday at Jones County High School.

The Georgia High School Association has released the Class 5A State Duals Championship bracket for Saturday's tournament at Jones County High School.

Cass will attempt to defend its 2022 duals state championship while Woodland will seek a sixth duals state title since 2003.

The state quarterfinals will begin on all four mats at 10 a.m. with semifinals and finals -- along with consolation matches -- to follow.

The Wildcats were originally scheduled to square off with Ola in the first round. but a GHSA bracket change inserted Cambridge to face Woodland. The Colonels will go head-to-head with Eastside in the first round.
