Gossett and Jones earn podium finishes for Excel Christian at GAPPS state tournament

Excel Christian Academy had two wrestlers place at the Georgia Association of Private and Parochial Schools (GAPPS) State Tournament held at King's Ridge Christian Academy in Alpharetta.

Gabe Gossett, an eighth grader, finished second in the 190-pound division this season after placing third last year as a seventh grader.

Sophomore Russell Jones placed fourth in his weight class.
