Hurricanes win five-team meet at Rockmart

The Cartersville High School girls and boys track and field teams each won a five-team meet on Thursday at Rockmart High School.
The Lady Canes (78 points) finished ahead of host Rockmart (51) and Paulding County (51). Hiram (46) was fourth, followed by South Paulding (24).
The Cartersville boys (124) dominated their competition, with Paulding County (40) and Hiram (35) taking second and third place, respectively. South Paulding and host Rockmart finished with 33 points.
